No matter how hard you work at your photography, sometimes the key to success is pure luck. The image in this post is a great example. I was on the touchline at a local football match (Brighton & Hove Albion, for those who are interested), and decided to grab a few shots of the crowd instead of the action on the pitch.
This is my first attempt at studio work using Bowens flash equipment. I set up in our conservatory, pulling the blinds down to control the light. I hung a black background, set my camera on a tripod with a remote shutter button and had an hours fun with two small boys!! Taken at 1/200 sec at f/11, ISO 800, focal length 28mm.
